I started painting when I retired from 35 years of hospital nursing. My life has been full of exploration, adventures and exposure too many different cultures. I was lucky to travel outside the US. I appreciate and love living in the NW.
Painting with watercolor is full of exploration and adventure from portraits to landscapes. I love the color of the paints and the contrast between the colors. I love how rich the colors become when they are layered. I do not have a single style yet and hope I never do. However, the more I paint, the more I like what I create.
