Keri recently moved to Sudden Valley, telling us that a weekend rental turned into a Let’s Buy and Move Moment for Keri and her husband Justin. They are Pacific Northwesters through and through, raised in Kirkland and attended WWU. She transferred to the Art Institute of Seattle where she focused on interior design, graduating at the top of her class with honors. Art has always been central to Keri’s life. In the recent past she applied art to interior design in different projects. She has always loved working with creative people such as painters, sculptors, and photographers, as she placed their pieces in interior/exterior projects. Keri has worked on interiors for mega yachts, hotels and private residences. She has also coordinated large scale corporate events. In our quiet beautiful natural setting, she has been inspired to move into new artistic directions. Her background in visual direction and motivation has helped inspire Keri to innovate. She joins her original photos with acrylic paints to make the images more ethereal to make the colors really pop. She takes her phone hiking, dog walking with her rescue pup Hugo, and anywhere that catches her eye. Moving to Sudden Valley has given her the creative motivation, along with a great excuse to explore nature adventurously, to create new art.
Each piece is a one-of-a kind original photograph with acrylic overlay on wood block. Similar pieces can be made-to-order including size changes, etc.
